All you need is pink pants....and a cape to do some spinning in.
It's almost the weekend! And I'm in a pretty chipper mood today. I guess cake pops for breakfast and being on my third cup of coffee might be driving that a little, but also all this nice warm weather in Denver today is for sure helping. I've already broken out my shorts, and my shopping outing this week included stocking up on some fun floral prints. I'm living the spring life already, even though it's still February.
This outfit just begs to be danced around in, apparently. Here are my two favorite pieces to take your wardrobe from winter to spring this season:
#1: Some thin, fun-colored leggings
Some thin leggings are the perfect transition piece since they are full length but not too warm. Pick a fun springy color like these pink ones to combine with some of your other winter tops, like cold shoulder styles or light sweaters.
These pink leggings made their debut in my pretty in pink Valentine's Day look and I've been wearing them everywhere since. They are seriously so comfortable and make my outfit feel put together even though I'm not wearing real pants.
#2: A cape / stole
A cape is another amazing piece to transition from winter to spring, since you can wear short sleeves and throw it on top if it gets a little chilly. Unlike a jacket or cardi, your arms aren't totally covered so you won't get too hot, but it's enough coverage to block you from a chilly breeze. Plus, it doubles as a blanket, which is handy for super cold restaurants.
This exact cape is linked below (it comes in 6 colors, but some of them are out of stock online), plus some similar boots and leggings!
What do you think!?
