Ready for a challenge? I transformed this space for the Frogtape Paintover Challenge 🐸 as one of the featured design influencers!
I was given @taniyanayak’s “Natural Beauty” trend and a $500 budget to create some makeover magic.

rope pendant lights
I was brainstorming how to add unique lighting to this space and after TONS of research, I found some light fixtures I had never seen used anywhere before — rope lights! I love the unique texture they create in the space and create great contrast with the light and airy white walls.
You can find them on amazon here — oh ps they're under $15.
painted grasscloth wallpaper
I used a couple neutral paint colors and a large coarse brush to create a wallpaper-look paint pattern on this wall. It looks like grasscloth wallpaper, but for a fraction of the price.
my moss-terpiece
I created some moss art using a canvas, a drop cloth, a variety of moss and a glue gun. I love the greenery and lively vibe it adds to the room and even better that it doesn't need to be watered.
indoor pond
I converted a planter to an indoor pond using a bamboo fountain that circulates water plus some floating lilly pad plants I picked up from the outdoor pod area at home depot.
diy wall trim
Picture frame wall trim is a simple way to make a space look elevated. It's easy to install and gives any space a timeless look. This trend will be on the rise in the coming years (2021-2022) since its beginner diy friendly and already popping up in a lot of designer looks and magazine shoots.
