Time to chat about one of my favorite holiday traditions...Date Night!
The week between Christmas and New Years is a perfect time for a date. Between all the holiday decorations still being up, and the possibility of free babysitting from all the relatives in town - if this isn't a tradition you and your guy have started yet, you definitely should this year.
My fiancé, Rich and I love having our date night out this time of year. The tradition for us started about two years ago when we were in La Jolla, CA. After sipping some wine (ok…a lot of wine) by the fire on the beach we got hungry and wandered over to Osertia Romantica for some pasta. It’s been something we do year to year ever since.
It's so great to be able to take the time between the holidays and all the bustle & busyness of travel and family to have some wine and a good meal. If you're the kind of girl who needs to recharge in between all the holiday gatherings or you aren't always the most outgoing, it's a perfect way to celebrate the end of the year - just the two of you, and get in a nice break.
For all of you that are in Denver for the holidays, 801 Chophouse is a great spot to start your holiday tradition. Besides the yummy food, 801 is also located in the Cherry Creek Mall, so you might be able to talk your man into doing a little pre-dinner browsing, or even popping into a movie afterward.
This red dress has been a staple in my wardrobe for about two years now. I originally got it at Nordstrom, but I can't seem to find it anywhere for sale. A similar look is linked below.
