Welcome to my fall house tour! I'm giving you a peak into a few of the spaces in my house to show you how I decorated for fall.
My approach this year was pretty simple — focusing on small touches and nods to autumn vs full blown pumpkin everything.
FALL DECOR STRATEGY: Warm everything up
My approach to decorating for fall is to warm everything up — this means adding cozy touches like throw blankets and pillows plus using warm hues like yellows and oranges to warm up the color palette.
I'm especially loving yellow and burnt orange this season since they compliment each other well and aren't as primary-heavy as classic bright red, orange, and yellow decor.
Another strategy for warming everything up is to use wood tones and gold as accents. This helps break up the color and adds in some really great texture to create balance.
One of my rules for using color in a way that looks polished is to anchor with a neutral, so I was sure to add in some white pumpkins and touches like neutral pillows to help ground the pops of color.

This is absolutely gorgeous! I feel like the hardest part about decorating for Fall is not compromising your evergreen color scheme. I love neutrals but pops of color go a long way. Great job!
Best,
