Ah snow days. When I'm not all snuggled up inside on the couch with some hot chocolate, one of my favorite snow day outings is, well, drinking. But seriously, Denver has so many amazing local breweries and wineries worth getting all bundled up and braving the chilly air for.
This afternoon's stop was the Blue Moon Brewery in RiNo with some good friends who are in town visiting from OK. If you haven't made it here yet, you should definitely stop in one afternoon. New to the Denver brewery scene as of this fall, Blue Moon is a super fun stop. They offer special beers brewed on location that are not bottled or available elsewhere, plus this super fun graffiti wall.
So now for this outfit. It's styled with some of the gems I found while shopping over the holidays plus some of the pieces I got for Christmas.
It's perfect for layering over all my colorful sweaters when I'm feeling a pop of color, but also goes great with all the (way too many) dark grey and black tops that I own. (P.S. They have all kinds of colors, so if you're not on my grey kick, you can still find your color)
Speaking of colorful sweaters, this dark purple cashmere sweater was a gift from my mother in law this Christmas and its so cozy! It's by Halogen, and you can get one for yourself at Nordstrom. All this over some dark grey denim, black riding boots, and a dark grey scarf up top.
I've linked my look below if you'd like to do some shopping, minus the boots because I've actually had them for a couple years and they are not for sale any more. However, if you like the quilted leather look, I linked a similar pair below.
